If I become unable to take part on the day of the marathon, will you refund my entry fee? Otherwise, may I ask a friend or someone else to run in my place (as a substitute runner)?

Even if you become unable to take part on the day of the marathon, there will be no refund of your entry fees. If the event is canceled due to adverse weather, natural disasters, infectious diseases, or any other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, determination of whether or not participation fees and handling charges will be refunded will be made after taking into consideration the expenses incurred up to the time of cancellation. Substitute runners will not be allowed: runners found to be other than registrants will be disqualified. Your understanding of our policy will be appreciated.
